Album Review: The Boy I Used To Be “Holiday”

Every now and again you want a break from the fast-paced, overwhelming, insanely hectic outside world. On days such as today, where I’m inside, covered in blankets on this chilly New England day, coffee in hand I just want something….serene. Something that will relax yet entertain, give feelings of calm, yet not put you to sleep. On this overcast afternoon, The Boy I Used To Be’s EP, Holiday is delivering all those sensations.

Easily reminiscent of bands like Anchor & Braille (and I do love Anchor&Braille), this 5 song EP is a promising, exciting start for The Boy I Used To Be. In fact, it’s local art at it’s finest, so get out there and support it!

You can pick up a copy of Holiday beginning April 23 at a ‘pay what you’d like’ price. More details can be found here.
