Man Of The Hour Release “Modern Day Epic”

South Wales is famed for generating iconic music legends, from Shirley Bassey to Tom Jones, and for all lovers of pop punk we have Lost Prophets and Kids in Glass Houses.  It’s safe to say that the aforementioned artists are just the tip of the iceberg from the generations of talent that have flown effortlessly out of Wales.  Emerging from this sea of talent is Man of the Hour, a powerful punk pop band that’s sure to make waves this year.

Man of the Hour is a ‘pop-punk band with teeth’ from deep in the Welsh Valleys that experiment with elements of pop-punk from the various reincarnations of the genre over the years.  Some influences come from the early days of Blink 182 and New Found Glory to the more recent influences of Four Year Strong and Set Your Goals. Man Of The Hour bring unique, original combinations of guitar rhythms and soaring, addictive melodies to an often crowded genre, and set out to sound like nothing you’ve ever heard before, whilst at the same time resembling a long lost friend.

Man of the Hour have had a tremendous amount of airplay from some of the UK’s most listened to stations, such as Radio 1, Amazing Radio and Nation Radio.  The guys have been noted as one of the best up and coming acts to emerge from Wales in 2012, so get ready for the take over.

You can listen to the Chris “MUG5″ Maguire produced single below.

Man of the Hour have a variety of gigs coming up at the following venues:

16th March @ Hobo’s, Bridgend
