Justin Timberlake’s “Take Back The Night” Faces Legal Action From Anti-Rape Organization

justin timberlake take back the nightJustin Timberlake’s recently released song and video “For Take Back The Night” is now the cause of legal action from the Sexual Assault Awareness Organization of the same title.

The organization states that the themes of the song and video are suggestive and do not promote anti-violent sex. They also cite the phrase “use me” as being a trigger for those who have been sexually assaulted. The organization is taking legal action as their name was wrongly used which violates copyright laws.

Timberlake says he did not even know about the organization when he wrote the song alongside Timbaland, Jerome Harmon and James Fauntleroy.

Both parties are hoping to resolve the issue peaceably.
